JOE PRATT
WELCOME!
Joe Pratt is a senior broadcast journalism major at Baylor University with a passion for sports media. Joe is coming off his third summer working for the Cotuit Kettleers in the Cape Cod Baseball League, interning as a writer in 2022 and a play-by-play broadcaster during the 2023 and 2024 summers. At school, joe is settling into his new position as the Executive Producer for Lariat TV News. joe is in his fourth year with the student-run news outlet, The Baylor Lariat. He previously worked for Lariat TV News as a broadcast reporter as a freshman, and LTVN’s sports director as a sophomore. As a junior, Joe concentrated his time on Baylor Lariat Radio and helped produce its first live broadcast since 2019. Joe is still involved in Baylor Lariat Radio as a play-by-play broadcaster for baseball, football and basketball, and as a podcast co-host on the weekly ‘Don’t Feed the Bears’ podcast.

FEATURE: Former intern goes from Lowell Park to Fenway
The green scoreboard in left-center field at Lowell Park is far smaller than the one that lies at the base of the green monster of Fenway Park. Learning how to operate the scoreboard at Lowell Park is also a much simpler task.
